PRIVATE INVESTIGATORS LODGE NSW POLICE FRAUD COMPLAINT NAMING ADRIAN CAMPBELL AND HILTON WOOD
A detailed fraud complaint naming businessman Adrian Campbell and his former associate Hilton Wood has been presented to the New South Wales Police Force in Parramatta.
Video recorded on Wednesday, 26 August 2026, shows representatives carrying a completed NSW Police Fraud Report Form and supporting documentation to NSW Police Force Headquarters at 1 Charles Street, Parramatta.
The material was prepared and lodged by a private investigation firm on behalf of the complainants. The documents identify Jamie McIntyre and PT Bali Real Estate Investments among the parties connected with the complaint.
The supporting material shown in the footage includes a document headed “Persons of Interest,” containing photographs of Campbell, Wood and several other individuals whom investigators are reportedly asking NSW Police to examine in connection with the alleged conduct.
The complaint reportedly concerns suspected fraudulent activity, the handling and movement of investor funds, corporate accounts and transactions associated with property investments and related corporate entities.
Investigators have asked the NSW Police fraud and financial-crime authorities to examine the allegations, relevant banking records, company records, electronic communications and the respective roles of the people identified in the submitted material.
The complaint follows a long-running dispute concerning funds collected from purchasers for an Indonesian property development formerly marketed as Marina Bay City in Lombok.
Representatives of LUX Property Group and PT Bali Real Estate Investments have previously alleged that millions of dollars collected from purchasers were not transferred to the Indonesian developer responsible for delivering the properties. Those allegations have been denied or disputed by parties associated with the former sales and marketing operation.
The complaint is expected to request scrutiny of the destination of investor funds, the bank accounts into which the money was paid, any transfers to overseas accounts and whether representations made to investors and the Indonesian developer were accurate.
The investigators have reportedly supplied NSW Police with a substantial documentary brief intended to support the allegations and establish the relevant sequence of transactions.
The presentation of the complaint does not itself mean NSW Police have made findings against Campbell, Wood or any other person identified in the material. It also does not establish that a formal criminal investigation has commenced or that charges will be laid.
The allegations remain unproven unless and until tested through an official investigation and court proceedings. Campbell, Wood and every other person named in the complaint are entitled to the presumption of innocence.
However, the formal submission represents a significant escalation in the dispute by placing the allegations and supporting documentation directly before Australian law-enforcement authorities.
A representative connected with the complaint said the purpose of lodging the material was to have independent Australian investigators examine what happened to the purchasers’ money and determine whether any criminal offences may have been committed.
“We have now formally placed the evidence before the New South Wales Police Force,” the representative said.
“We are asking the appropriate Australian authorities to follow the money, examine the relevant bank accounts and corporate records, and determine the role played by each person involved.
“This is no longer simply a commercial disagreement or a battle of competing public claims. The evidence should be independently examined, and those responsible for handling the funds should be required to explain where the money went.”
The complaint is separate from any civil litigation between the parties. Criminal allegations must be assessed independently by police and, where appropriate, prosecutors.
NSW Police have not yet publicly confirmed whether the complaint has been referred to a specialist fraud unit, assigned an event number or accepted for a formal investigation.
Requests for comment should be sent to Campbell and Wood before publication. Any substantive response received should be incorporated into the report.
The NSW Police Force confirms that its headquarters is located at 1 Charles Street, Parramatta, and provides established channels for lodging and assessing fraud reports.
Further updates are expected once the complainants receive confirmation of how the submission will be handled.
