Marina Bay City Issues Trespass Warning and Investor Alert in Lombok, Indonesia
Lombok, Indonesia — Marina Bay City has formally warned that representatives linked to Kinnara will be pursued for trespassing if they enter Marina Bay City or any of its land holdings again, following what the developer describes as months of interference after Kinnara was bought out of the project.
A Marina Bay City spokesperson said the buyout of Kinnara was completed several months ago and publicly confirmed in early November, including media releases dated November 4 and November 5 acknowledging the sale and exit. Despite this, Marina Bay City alleges that Kinnara and its representatives have engaged in a sustained campaign to undermine the project.
According to the spokesperson, individuals associated with Kinnara have repeatedly attempted to access the Marina Bay City site without authorisation and have allegedly approached subcontractors involved in developing the city, offering inducements to stop work and disrupt construction.
“It is well publicised that Kinnara was bought out some time ago and no longer has anything whatsoever to do with Marina Bay City,” the spokesperson said. “Yet they continue sending representatives to the site to cause disruption and attempt to sabotage the project. If this behaviour continues, we will have no choice but to involve the police and have them charged with trespassing.”
Marina Bay City further alleges that following the buyout, Kinnara failed to hand over certain digital assets that formed part of the exit agreement. The developer claims these assets are now being used to deceive and mislead investors into believing Kinnara remains associated with Marina Bay City — an assertion Marina Bay City strongly denies.
“After publicly confirming the buyout, they are now denying it and actively working against a project they no longer have any legal or commercial involvement in,” the spokesperson said.
To prevent further interference, Marina Bay City confirmed it is constructing a new main entrance to the city precinct, incorporating 24-hour security. Once completed, access will be strictly controlled, and any unauthorised representatives — including those claiming to sell land connected to or near Marina Bay City — will be denied entry.
The developer has issued a renewed warning to investors and buyers:
“Do not purchase property from any unauthorised developers or agents claiming to represent Marina Bay City. The only legitimate sales channels are Marina Bay City Direct and the developer and controlling owner, Lux Properties.”
Marina Bay City reiterated that its only official website is marinabay.city, and cautioned investors to disregard any other websites, agents, or marketing materials falsely claiming an association with Marina Bay City.
